The R&D of Marine Science and Technology is the only key to answering problems ranging from water shortage and natural-resource scarcity to climate change. It will also lead us to a developed country.
As a professional funding agency in the field of marine science and technology, Korea Institute of Marine Science and Technology Promotion(KIMST) is providing the strategic development of marine science and efficient R&D management. In addition, KIMST supports to collaborate with local and foreign researchers and promotes the performance of R&D results. KIMST is determined to lead Korea on the path to becoming one of the world's leading maritime nations by developing marine science and technology.
